LOTI receives another funding support

We are proud to announce that LOTI has received funding on behalf of Pearson Foundation for Social Innovation. This is a sentiment that validates and supports LOTI's cause and its importance for shaping future development of the social and educational conditions for Cameroon's unprivileged youth. The announcement of all successful Fellows will be announced on December 9, 2010 in Doha, Qatar at the World Innovation Summit on Education with the Fellowship Program beginning on January 17, 2011.

The Pearson Foundation has been funding the initial development of the innovative Sprout E-course and - more recently - sponsoring the organization's Pearson Fellowship for Social Innovation. Available worldwide, the Sprout E-course helps young people imagine, plan, and develop effective and scalable social innovation projects. Since its release in 2008, the Sprout E-course has given young people from more than forty countries access to training in essential skills; including team building, project management, communications, and the ability to leverage technology.

We hope that this will be one of many LOTI's successful future projects.
