company, offering free internet classified advertisement to businesses as well as private
individuals in Cameroon. He is also currently pursuing his online Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Cedric has over 2 years experience as a volunteer for number of local economic development projects as well as more than 4 years experience in web development and internet marketing. He is also a motivational speaker and an Online Missionary for Global Media Outreach. Cedric desires a world where all young people have the chance to pursue a degree in higher education. |

Maria has over 10 years experience in the field of marketing and communication, branding, international business development and EU funding and project management. Over the course of her professional experience she has been working on number of different projects related to market analysis, partner development as well as fundraising strategies and possibilities, while experiencing new cultures and building an international network of both professional and private contacts, which remains a very important and integral part of her life. Her desire has always been to contribute her knowledge and experience to UNV's global network, in supporting development and humanitarian actions in different countries throughout the world. Maria is otherwise 34 years old, and is coming from Denmark but originates from Macedonia. |

Myat Kaung

Myat is 32 years old and has 7 years experience in plant
production, management and Rural development activities with Goverments and
INGOs. He got a Master degree from Yezin Agricultural University (YAU), Myanmar in May 2010.
He is now studying for his second Master degree with the International Master of Horticultural Science Scholarship Program at the University of Bologna, Italy. After finishing his studies, he plans to conduct a Rural Communities Development Program in his country or in another less developed region. Myat's motto: "Let's suppot the development of our nation and other less developed areas in the world through our agricultural knowledge!" |
Jelena Ristic

Jelena Ristic is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Philosophy. She has attended seminars organized within the project "Democratic Seminar 2000", as well as seminars within the project "Traditional Justice in Former Yugoslavia". She has also finalized the training program "Classroom of good will", which was organized by Group MOST, Belgrade, Association for cooperation and meditation. She has worked in a democratic political party as the technical secretary and is currently volunteering in a local high school. She firmly believes that the duty of the man is to have a good will and to ensure that every person can be educated. One has to make its fortune in the happiness of others. |
Brook Goldsmith Gray

Throughout her career, Brook has worked with diverse local and national non-profits throughout the United States, ranging from the American Cancer Society, Florence Crittenton Services to the Chamber of Commerce. Incorporating over 8 years of knowledge in non-profit structure with strategic marketing experience enable her to construct a productive fundraising and marketing plan for organizations. Brook traditionally donates her free time to various humanitarian causes and enjoys meeting new people and helping others. Recently, she moved to Germany from the United States and is relishing exploring and traveling around Europe. |
Marleen Kruidenier

Marleen studied Communications of Enterprises at the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. She graduated in 2007 and worked for more than three years advising mainly non-profit organizations about communication and fundraising. Curious to get to know other cultures she decided to travel the world for a year to volunteer for the Charity Hands Foundation. Sets up partnerships for this foundation to fight against poverty and contributes to the start of new self-supporting projects in less developed countries. Likes writing and photography. Is aware of the great privilege of being well-educated and loves to share her knowledge and skills to those in need. |
Ananad Amritanshu

Amritanshu is an undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Technology,
Kharagpur. He has been working for the past three years to promote social
entrepreneurship in India. He has worked for India's largest chain of rickshaw pullers, SammaaN to provide health and housing facilities to people at the base of the pyramid. He was selected as an Author of Change 2011, a fellowship for students working and creating impact in social sector. He also started an affordable mentoring program (www.efty.in) for deserving students and has trained over 1500 students. |
Goitsimang Joanna Makanda

Joanna is 21 years old; a Zimbabwean national who has resided in the United Kingdom for 12years. She is a recent Law graduate from the University of Kent and is currently pursuing her LLM in Law, Development and Governance at the School of Oriental and African Studies ( University of London). Joanna is extremely passionate about Human Rights and has experience working with different Human Rights groups; particularly the Human Rights of Women especially in the developing world. She is extremely keen to contribute to the movement of empowering women particularly in poverty stricken parts of the world. It is said that one of the ways to eradicate poverty is through the empowerment of Women; Joanna feels having grown up and studied in a progressive and liberal society she can make a positive contribution in the Girls Forum faction of LOTI. |
